Uncharted Waters Origin launches Clashing Mediterranean season, adds new trade item

Clashing Mediterranean turned Uncharted Waters Origin into a fresh three-month planning exercise, not just a new batch of rewards. Investment Season 6 began after the May 13 maintenance and runs until August 9 at 23:59 UTC+9, with LINE Games tying the season to the Battle of Lepanto and the wider 16th-century Mediterranean struggle.

The biggest shift for players is how much of the economy gets cleared and rebuilt. City nation share, city guild share, city development level, city mayor and government posts, and the mayor reappointment count all reset when the season starts. Investment points of 1,000 or more were also reset down to 1,000, which makes early-season route planning and resource spending matter immediately. For players chasing long-term efficiency, this is the season to decide where time goes first: trade loops, investment, or city influence.

The new trade item, Chalcopyrite, sits at the center of that loop. It can be exchanged using Bambara Groundnut and Gold Dust at Hutu Village and San Village, keeping the barter system at the heart of the update. LINE Games also added Deed Pillagers, Fearsome Enemies, and Treasure Pillagers across the season, along with renewed Assault content built around Don Juan de Austria and Müezzinzade Ali Pasha. Messina Outpost and Golden Horn Outpost were added as season adventure locations, giving the Mediterranean theme a more practical map presence.

Season 6 also raised the Company Max Level from 105 to 110, which gives active companies a clear progression target over the summer. Two Grade 26 Special Ships, Galleass and Kadirga, joined the roster, alongside the special combining gear and parts item Fragrant Cloud. Taken together, those additions make this less like a quick event rotation and more like a systems refresh for players who measure progress in routes, ships, and company growth.

Story players got their own lane too. The new Admiral Chronicle, Chronicle of Vittorio Sartori, follows an information broker and surgeon from Genoa as he uncovers secrets about his adoptive father during the Lepanto-era storyline. Completion rewards include A Grade Mate Selime, B Grade Mate Murad Reis, and S Grade Mate Fabio Mendes at the Inn. LINE Games also added S Grade Mates Speranza Morea and Bianca Capello, with Speranza Morea available for free and Bianca Capello sold as a paid item.

The season rollout was backed by the Age of Turmoil Attendance login event through June 9 and the returning scenario event The Journey of Esmeralda, the Blue-Eyed Female Warrior, which awards the exclusive gear Yellow Flower of Candia. Since Uncharted Waters Origin launched on March 7, 2023 as a Mobile/PC MMORPG from Motif with LINE Games and KOEI TECMO GAMES, it has leaned on historical trade and slow-burn progression. Clashing Mediterranean keeps that identity intact, then sharpens it for the next three months.
