War Robots teases Shadow over Shore with Martian robotic games video
A Titan duel video set up Shadow over Shore, and the May 24 update looks aimed at cover play, range pressure and healing denial through Shoggoth, R’lyeh Mothership and Ultimate Rhino.

War Robots did not just tease another robot drop. The latest Martian Robotic Games video turned the game’s next update into a tactical statement, putting Titans Bersagliere and Atlas in a broadcast-style showdown and hinting that Shadow over Shore is built to change how matches are fought, not just what they look like.
That matters because War Robots is in its 12th year and still playing the long game. MY.GAMES says the shooter has more than 325 million players and registered users worldwide across platforms and stores, and that its cross-platform progression feature was used around 90,000 times in the past year. Against that backdrop, the Martian Robotic Games event in Update 12.0, along with the War Robots Live Show 2026 anniversary push, looks less like a one-off promo and more like a sustained live-service cycle designed to keep veterans rotating back into the hangar.
The next beat arrives on May 24, when Shadow over Shore is set to land. The update moves the action to a derelict, fog-shrouded coastal city on Earth, and its headline unit, Shoggoth, is built for long-range pressure in a way that should matter immediately to anyone who lives by hard cover and peek timings. MY.GAMES describes the Lovecraftian-inspired robot as able to raise its weapons 70 meters high and fire over cover, which makes it sound less like a bruiser and more like a positional disruption piece that can punish safe anchors from angles most bots cannot answer.

The rest of the kit leans into the same idea. Shantak, Urhag and Voonith are spatial weapons that grow stronger the farther they travel, so distance is not just a firing lane but part of the damage model. R’lyeh Mothership adds another layer with its Funnel of Doom zone, draining maximum durability and countering healing, which should make drawn-out trades and repair-based survival far riskier. Ultimate Rhino is also returning with unbreakable shields, giving the update a familiar front-line answer to the new anti-cover, anti-heal pressure.
That is what makes this tease feel more meaningful than a cosmetic sizzle reel. Update 12.0 already brought the Vector robot, Waymaker titan, Ultimate Hawk, a reworked hangar and a returning sand-covered map, so Shadow over Shore looks like the next step in a larger anniversary rollout. The Martian Robotic Games video suggests War Robots is not just adding content; it is nudging the whole combat rhythm toward longer sightlines, harsher punish windows and a Titan-led meta that may reward different habits than the ones players left behind.
