Bachmann Releases HO Amtrak Acela II Ready To Run Set

Bachmann released its HO scale Amtrak Acela II ready to run set on December 24, 2025, and the product is available now. The set ships complete with two locomotives, one powered for DC operation and one non powered with lights, plus three passenger cars identified as First Class, Cafe and Business Class Quiet Car. Interior detail and LED interior lighting are fitted to the cars, making this a plug and play passenger consist for home layouts.

The package includes a snap fit EZ Track oval measuring 81 inches by 45 inches, a power pack and a speed controller, so owners can run the train straight from the box. Bachmann priced the set at $799 and made additional Business Class cars available separately at $139 each, allowing operators to lengthen the train for longer mainline looks or to mix consists.
