Price trackers caught a steep Steam discount on NBA 2K26 last week, with the base game falling to around $17.49, roughly 75% off the standard $69.99 asking price. The Steambase tracker logged the drop in mid-to-late March 2026, with its entry last updated on March 21.
The discount put NBA 2K26 closer to an impulse buy than a sports-game purchase. For context, the title normally sits at $69.99 on Steam, a price point that has kept a lot of casual 2K fans on the sideline. At $17.49, that barrier essentially disappears.
Key reseller marketplaces pushed the price even lower. GG.deals, which tracks pricing across 22 stores and 60 separate offers, listed GameBoost as the cheapest current source at $17.20, representing a 75% discount against list. Official storefronts held slightly higher, with GG.deals showing $19.99 as the official-store floor during the same window, still a 75% reduction from MSRP.
The actual floor for NBA 2K26 on PC was set just over a week before the Steambase capture. On March 13, GAMIVO listed the game at $16.98, which GG.deals recorded as the all-time historical low for the title on PC. That offer has since ended, but it established a clear ceiling for how aggressively the market was moving on this game.
