Paizo Opens Preorders for Absalom Sourcebook, Map Folio Now Available
Paizo Inc opened preorders on November 29 for two new Pathfinder releases, a major sourcebook and a companion poster map folio. The products expand official options for running games in Absalom, and they matter because they supply large scale setting detail and playable maps that support Adventure Path and Organized Play tables.

Paizo Inc made two Absalom themed products available for preorder on November 29, giving groups fresh tools for campaigns set in the Inner Sea’s most famous city. The centerpiece is Absalom, City of Lost Omens, described as the largest Pathfinder city sourcebook to date and listed as a hardcover with an MSRP of forty six dollars and ninety nine cents. One retailer listing noted a two hundred ninety four page count, while Paizo’s description refers to a two hundred ninety six page hardcover guide.
Paizo positioned the book as a deep, lore packed guide to the locations and denizens of the city and framed Absalom at a moment of dramatic change. "For nearly 5,000 years, the great city of Absalom has stood at the center of the Inner Sea’s culture, commerce, and prophecy. Now, with the death of the city’s founder-god Aroden, the disappearance of the city’s lord mayor, and newly launched attacks from some of its greatest foes, Absalom stands at the gateway to a new and uncertain destiny! This lore-packed 296-page hardcover guide to the locations, denizens, and adventures of Pathfinder’s most famous city is the largest Pathfinder city sourcebook to date..." The blurb underscores hooks and upheaval that GMs can fold into ongoing campaigns.
The companion City of Lost Omens Poster Map Folio includes four large eight panel maps and carries an MSRP of twenty four dollars and ninety nine cents. Coverage of the folio emphasized that it is a natural match for campaigns running in Absalom, including Organized Play and Adventure Path use, and the poster format is designed for table display and strategic planning at the gaming table.

No official release dates were announced with the preorder listings, leaving timing uncertain for shipping or store arrival. For groups planning to update their ongoing play or launch new Absalom arcs, preorder now secures copies and lets you plan map placement and session layouts ahead of time. Check Paizo’s store and local retailers for order confirmation and shipping updates as Paizo posts release details.
