Paizo previews June Pathfinder and Starfinder Society scenarios

June’s organized play calendar gives Pathfinder Society and Starfinder Society tables a clean decision point: four scenarios land on June 3, 2026, and Paizo says they can be run at events beginning that same day. For players and GMs trying to stay current, the useful question is not just what is new, but which chapters move the bigger story forward now.

Starfinder Society gets the most connective tissue. Starfinder Society Scenario #1-23: Psychic Echoes sends agents back to the frozen moon of Luvoth, where the lu-venon have been liberated and reunited with family after the events of Starfinder Society Scenario #1-02: Mystery of the Frozen Moon. This one is best for low-level tables, since it is built for 1st- through 2nd-level characters and runs 2-3 hours, with Thomas Pugh as author. The scenario pairs PCs with Uloa Su-Tae, a lu-venon researcher and Starfinder ally, as they explore ice caves charged with psychic energy. It is the kind of adventure that rewards players who remember the first visit to Luvoth and GMs who want their Starfinder Second Edition tables anchored in the fallout from the setting’s early liberation story.

The second Starfinder release, Starfinder Society Scenario #1-24: Final Gambit: Part One, is the sharper signal for campaign followers. It is the opening half of a two-part finale to Invasion’s Edge, the first season of Starfinder Society for Starfinder Second Edition, and it pushes the fight against Elovai toward the Wreck of the Returned on Akiton. That makes it the scenario to watch if your group is tracking the year-long metaplot that began with a massive alien starship crashing into Akiton. With Starfinder Society’s next season, Beyond the Blood Door, already framed for later in 2026 at Gen Con, June’s finale setup is clearly meant to keep the campaign ladder climbing without a pause.

Pathfinder Society splits its attention between Brevoy politics and Absalom’s street-level fallout. Pathfinder Society Scenario #7-19: The Lost Legacy is the better choice for mid-level tables, a 7th- through 8th-level, 2-3 hour scenario written by Glen Parnell. It follows Nephaira Savakress, the former head librarian of Restov’s largest library, into a remote fishing village on the southern shore of the Lake of Mists and Veils, where a hidden vault is tied to House Rogavaria, Brevoy’s former ruling house that vanished more than twenty years ago. If you want lore about old Brevoy and a mystery with political teeth, this is the month’s Pathfinder Society must-play.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #7-20: The Strings of Hell aims lower in level but stays firmly inside the campaign’s ongoing arc. Set in the Cairnlands of Absalom, it follows the disappearance of young minotaurs from the Neysa community while they are on an important gathering quest, and it tags directly into the Battle’s Spark metaplot with a trail that reaches back to the beginning of the Hellfire Crisis. Absalom’s First Guards are already involved, which makes this the pick for tables that want a rescue-and-investigation scenario with immediate community stakes. Together, these four releases show Paizo doing what organized play does best: turning each month into a reliable step forward, with just enough story momentum to make the next sign-up feel like the next chapter.
