Pathfinder Nexus users spot wrong map in Lost Omens: World Guide
Pathfinder Nexus briefly served the wrong map for Old Cheliax, swapping in the Golden Road and raising fresh doubts about digital lore trust.

Pathfinder Nexus users who rely on Lost Omens: World Guide for quick lore checks had a simple question after the Old Cheliax chapter displayed a Golden Road map instead: can they trust the book during prep or play? The mismatch landed in a region where geography matters, because Cheliax is packed with faction boundaries, city placement, and political tension that GMs use to keep Golarion straight at the table.
The issue surfaced in a Demiplane forum thread opened by SenyorBlunders on April 20, 2026 at 7:49 p.m. The report said the image in the Old Cheliax section was showing the wrong asset, a map of the Golden Road area rather than the map for Old Cheliax. On April 21 at 4:53 p.m., Demiplane community manager Eve replied, “Thanks for the report! I’ll get it in front of the team so we can see about getting those images swapped out!” That left the thread in acknowledged, fix-pending territory rather than resolved status.
For Pathfinder 2E players, this is not a throwaway art slip. Lost Omens: World Guide is Paizo’s 136-page gazetteer covering 10 regions of the setting, and it is sold through Pathfinder Nexus on Demiplane as part of the digital reference stack many groups use at the table. When a region chapter pulls the wrong map, it can send a GM to the wrong coastline, wrong borders, or wrong city cluster while trying to answer a player’s question in the middle of a session.

The stakes are sharper in Old Cheliax, which Paizo’s own Cheliax map materials describe as home to multiple nations and notable cities with long histories. That makes the swap more than cosmetic. A Golden Road image in an Old Cheliax chapter can muddy the logic of travel routes, power centers, and regional identity, which are exactly the details that make a Lost Omens reference useful.
The larger pattern is that Demiplane has already used support megathreads for Lost Omens digital products, including World Guide and Travel Guide, where users flagged issues and staff responded about fixes. This looks like a specific asset error inside Old Cheliax rather than a full collapse of the platform, but it does reinforce the same live concern every Pathfinder Nexus buyer has: digital reference material is only as reliable as the last image swap and the quality check behind it.
