Owlcat Games gave Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous a small but immediately noticeable boost on March 11, 2025, pushing Update 2.7.0W to PC and PS4/Xbox Series X/S with two changes that console players will feel right away. The patch added Brazilian Portuguese and Italian to the console version, and it tucked music from Skar Productions into the Credits tab, where it stays hidden until a player has finished the game at least once so the ending remains unspoiled.

That spoiler gate is the detail that makes the patch stand out. Wrath is a sprawling CRPG built around branching choices, mythic paths, and multiple endings, so even a credits-track addition has to respect where players are in the story. Owlcat framed the update as a careful presentation tweak rather than a bare-bones text pass, which fits a game that still draws regular attention years after launch.

The language additions matter just as much. Brazilian Portuguese and Italian arrived on consoles through community localizations, extending a pattern Owlcat has already used to broaden access across platforms. Update 2.6.0n, which landed on December 16, 2024, also added those same languages to the main game on consoles, and a February 2025 console update, 01.000.013, paired the translations with PS5 Pro 4K support. For players who move between PlayStation and Xbox, the message is clear: console parity is still part of Owlcat’s support plan, not an afterthought.

That approach lines up with how Owlcat presents itself as a studio. Its publishing materials say localization and porting are part of what it offers, and the company says it is headquartered in Cyprus with more than 450 employees spread across multiple countries. For a game like Wrath of the Righteous, that international footprint shows up in the patch notes as much as it does in the art or combat systems.

The March 11 update also fits neatly into Wrath’s longer console life cycle. Owlcat opened console pre-orders on August 11, 2022, and launched Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous on consoles on September 29, 2022, through PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, and Nintendo Switch Cloud Streaming. More than two years later, a credits-track surprise from Skar Productions and a pair of community-built language packs made the game feel a little newer the next time players loaded it up.
