Ace Pickleball Club opens in Plano with all-in indoor play model

Ace Pickleball Club’s Plano debut bets that one membership can erase the usual booking headaches: partners, court times and add-on fees. Its launch also shows how crowded North Texas indoor pickleball is getting.

For players deciding where to book in North Texas, Ace Pickleball Club is making a direct pitch: stop piecing together court time, partners and extra costs, and just show up. The Georgia-based chain opened its Plano club on April 11 at Suite 810 in Plano, Texas 75093, with an all-in indoor model built around unlimited open play, court reservations, social mixers, events, tournaments and clinics.

That formula speaks to the biggest friction points in pickleball travel and retreat planning. At many facilities, the experience still starts with a scramble to coordinate a foursome, then a second hunt for a court window that fits everyone’s schedule. Ace is trying to remove both hurdles at once, while also folding in tournament access through the APC Member Championship Series and unlimited paddle demos, a useful perk for players who like to test gear before they buy.

Plano’s pricing makes the strategy plain. The club lists Core at $79 plus tax for two visits a week, Elite at $99 plus tax for three visits a week, Unlimited at $129 plus tax, and a Mid-Day plan at $69 for check-ins between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The location is also advertising free clinics, social mixers, tournaments, leagues and introductory sessions for new players, with Intro to Pickleball classes on the calendar from April 16 through April 22.

Ace Pickleball Club was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Roswell, Georgia. Trade coverage identifies Joe Sexton and Jay Diederich as the co-founders, and company materials from its franchise launch in 2023 described indoor clubs designed to feature eight to 16 regulation-size courts, climate control, live streaming and instant replay technology. The first Ace club opened in Roswell in July 2023, and Plano is part of a wider push rather than a one-off experiment.

That matters in a suburb where dedicated indoor pickleball is becoming a real arms race. Pickleball Kingdom reopened its Plano club under new ownership in March 2026, and that site was reported to include 15 indoor courts inside a 44,407-square-foot space. With Ace now in the mix, Plano is turning into a proving ground for the premium club model, where the sell is not just court inventory but convenience, community and year-round play under one roof.
