A spot at the 2027 National Senior Games in Tulsa, Oklahoma is on the line when Massachusetts pickleball players gather at BOSSE's 21-court Natick facility this July for three days of state-championship bracket play.

Registration opened at 9:00 AM on April 1 for the July 24-26 tournament at BOSSE, 310 Speen Street, Natick, with early-bird pricing available from day one. The 2024 Massachusetts Senior Games drew 184 registered players across a three-day format, and the return to BOSSE gives competitors one of the most purpose-built competitive environments in New England. BOSSE opened inside the former Neiman Marcus space at the Natick Mall in fall 2024 as the largest indoor pickleball complex in Massachusetts, built around 21 courts and a dedicated stadium court suited for large-scale bracket events.

The tournament format spreads disciplines across the weekend: singles on Friday July 24, doubles on Saturday July 25, and mixed doubles on Sunday July 26. Medals are awarded in five-year age increments, and skill-level brackets cover the full player pool, from beginner (below 3.25) through intermediate (3.25 to 3.99) to advanced (4.0 and above). Players are advised to check bracket start times closely and to arrive with signed waivers in hand.

The qualifying pathway to nationals is the headline incentive for many competitors. Massachusetts's 2026 state games serve as a qualifying event for the 2027 National Senior Games, scheduled for June 30 through July 11 in Tulsa. Athletes must be 50 or older by December 31, 2026 to be eligible.

The combination of a qualifying credential, a tiered skill structure, and a venue with 21 courts gives the MASG pickleball event an unusual range: a beginner at 3.0 and a serious 4.5-level player can both register, compete in appropriately matched brackets, and walk away with a legitimate state-medal result. For senior players building a competition calendar around travel, the July 24-26 window at a facility that includes courtside seating and dining makes Natick a natural anchor.

BOSSE was founded by D.J. Bosse, a former professional tennis player who brought the concept to New England. Registration for the Massachusetts Senior Games is open now through PickleballTournaments.com, and early-bird pricing makes the first weeks after April 1 the best time to lock in entry fees before the July brackets fill.
