Mattamy Homes expands Rocking K in Vail with pickleball courts

Mattamy Homes has added Alamar at Rocking K, bringing 38 finished homesites onto 4.7 acres inside a 5,000-acre Vail community where pickleball already has a visible place in the neighborhood plan. The deal closed June 10, presales are slated to begin in July, and model homes are expected to open in August.

The acquisition gives Mattamy a fresh footprint in Rocking K, which sits about 25 miles from downtown Tucson. The builder says it will offer four single-family floor plans starting at 1,735 square feet, positioning Alamar as a new entry point for buyers looking east of Tucson without giving up the community amenities that have helped define the larger development.
