Pickleball Kingdom, which bills itself as the world's largest indoor pickleball entity, announced on March 23 that franchisees Vidya R. and Vicky K. are working to bring a premier indoor pickleball facility to the Woodbridge area of New Jersey. The pair are still in the site-selection phase, but the move signals that the brand has no intention of slowing its march across the Garden State.

With clubs already open in Hamilton, Tinton Falls, Watchung, and Hillsborough Township, Pickleball Kingdom is further accelerating its growing presence across the Garden State. The Hillsborough location is itself the product of an earlier acquisition: the facility at 315 Roycefield Road was converted from The Pickle Jar, an existing indoor club, into Pickleball Kingdom Hillsborough, joining the Hamilton, Tinton Falls, and Watchung locations. The eight-court site underwent upgrades to align with the brand's indoor club model.

That Hillsborough conversion is being operated by franchisees Yashraj Kurani and Dip Jadawala, who are overseeing the transformation of the existing club. Planned improvements include professionally resurfaced courts, upgraded fencing, new court colors, enhanced amenities, and expanded programming.

CEO Ace Rodrigues made clear the New Jersey build-out is far from finished. "New Jersey has proven to be a tremendous home for Pickleball Kingdom," Rodrigues said. "Vidya and Vicky embody everything we look for in a franchise partner, and we can't wait to see the community they build as we continue to open more clubs across the state."

The Woodbridge franchisees bring decidedly off-court credentials to their venture. Vicky is a seasoned strategist in analytics and AI, while Vidya is a veteran technologist and community advocate who approaches large-scale enterprise projects with the mechanics of peak performance and teamwork. Both spoke about their vision for the club. Vicky said the facility would give "people of all ages and skill levels a place to be active, learn, and connect, whether they're serious competitors or total beginners." Vidya framed it in community terms: "An indoor, dedicated facility means we can enjoy the sport year-round, without worrying about weather or court availability. More than just a place to play, it will be a community hub where families, friends, and neighbors come together for fun, fitness, and social connection."

The Woodbridge club will offer state-of-the-art indoor courts ensuring perfect play conditions year-round, professional coaching and clinics tailored for all skill levels, youth development programs to inspire the next generation, competitive leagues and tournaments, and a welcoming space for community and corporate events. No street address or specific court count has been announced while the site search continues.

Rob Streett, president and chief global officer of Pickleball Kingdom, underscored what the company is looking for in its franchise partners. "We're thrilled to welcome Vidya and Vicky to the Pickleball Kingdom family," Streett said. "Their passion for people and their dedication to the game will create the kind of environment where players at every level feel at home."

The Hamilton club was the company's first New Jersey location, and that site is part of a 20-club rollout led by area representative Samrat "Sam" Sood. In August 2025, Pickleball Kingdom also announced a facility planned for South Brunswick. The Woodbridge announcement pushes the brand's New Jersey pipeline even further north into Middlesex County, a densely populated corridor with a growing appetite for dedicated indoor court time and no Pickleball Kingdom presence yet.
