Major League Table Tennis will bring its 2026 Championship Weekend to Table Tennis America in Fremont, Calif., on April 18-19, setting up a winner-take-all showdown among the league’s top four teams. The two-day event crowns the MLTT Cup and serves as the season finale for a league that bills itself as the first professional table tennis league in the U.S.

Semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, with matches at 1:00 p.m. PT and 4:30 p.m. PT. Play resumes Sunday, April 19, with a third place match at 1:00 p.m. PT and the championship final at 4:30 p.m. PT. Tickets are on sale now at tickets.mltt.com.

The move to the Bay Area reflects both competitive and community momentum. MLTT Founder and Commissioner Flint Lane said, "Championship Weekend is the moment we build toward all season, and the Bay Area is the perfect place to host it." The region’s established clubs and strong grassroots scene make Fremont a natural stage for live, high-level play where fans can watch top players' serves, loops, smashes, and footwork up close.

MLTT’s 2025-26 season has pushed table tennis into a wider U.S. spotlight, with the league reporting the first-ever sell-out events and record-setting growth across digital platforms. From September through December, MLTT generated more than 46 million social impressions and over 21.5 million video views, numbers that underline growing interest among both local players and casual viewers discovering the sport online.

Table Tennis America owner Hailong Shen added, "Table tennis is growing faster than ever, and MLTT’s Championship Weekend has quickly become the sport’s premier professional stage in America." Hosting the finals at TTA gives Bay Area players and clubs a clear opportunity to connect with pro-caliber competition, clinics, and community programming often staged around championship events.

For Bay Area fans, the weekend promises concentrated access to professional table tennis, an opportunity to study elite service patterns, spin control, and tactical doubles rotations while supporting regional table tennis infrastructure. Local coaches and club operators can use the event to scout talent, recruit members, and promote match-day experiences that convert casual viewers into regular players.

Expect fast-paced matches, strategic shotmaking, and a charged atmosphere across the two days. If you want a ringside seat to U.S. pro table tennis as the sport builds momentum, mark April 18-19 on your calendar and secure tickets at tickets.mltt.com.
