Fergie Dads gains momentum as Which Girl You Want remix spreads widely
Fergie Dads’ "Which Girl You Want (Remix)" is already ringing out on radios and in dances, and he wants it to hit every corner of Jamaica.

Fergie Dads is turning local noise into something that looks like real momentum. His "Which Girl You Want (Remix)" has been pulling strong support on radio and in dances, the kind of everyday rotation that can push a tune from promising to unavoidable in Jamaica’s crowded music scene. Ferguson, as he is known by name, is not just chasing streams. He says he wants the remix to spread through social media, bars, stores, buses and homes until it becomes impossible to miss, then climb all the way to number one on the Jamaican charts.
That ambition fits the way the song is landing right now. The remix is giving Fergie Dads a clearer lane and a wider audience, especially because the track is showing up in the places that matter most for dancehall and reggae success: the radio, the dance and the street-level spaces where a song either catches fire or disappears. He is also already looking beyond this release, with new songs and rhythms planned for later in the year, a sign that he is trying to turn one surge of attention into a longer run.

The current rise also makes more sense when placed against the path that brought him here. Fergie Dads, who comes from Shooters Hill in Bull Bay, first broke through in 2016 with "Cyah Sit Dung So," also written as "Cya Sidung So." That early song carried the message he said he inherited from his mother: do not sit down at home, be productive, and keep pushing toward your dreams. The idea behind that record still feels central to his approach now, especially as he leans into a career built on message, rhythm and persistence rather than quick hype.
His Kingston College background adds another layer to the story. Kingston College opened on April 16, 1925, and its old boys’ network has long been part of how the school maintains visibility and support through scholarships, grants, refurbishment and teacher appreciation. Being identified as a KC old boy places Fergie Dads inside that wider tradition of alumni pride, while his earlier 2021 profile, which linked him to a "vaccine confusion" themed release, showed he was still shaping a public voice around everyday issues.
Taken together, the remix, the radio support and the live dance response suggest an artist moving into a stronger phase. Fergie Dads is not presenting himself as a finished star. He is building in public, and "Which Girl You Want (Remix)" is the clearest sign yet that the build is starting to travel.
