Iration Announces 11th Album, New Single and 34-Date Summer Tour
Iration dropped new single "Shoyu" and announced their 11th album plus a 34-date summer tour featuring Tribal Seeds, SOJA, and Bumpin Uglies.

Iration arrived in 2026 with everything at once: a new single called "Shoyu," their 11th studio album Where It All Began set to drop May 1, and a 34-date Where It All Began Summer Tour kicking off May 6 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Isla Vista, California band released "Shoyu" alongside the album announcement, with the band's own blog flagging the single with the title "Shoyu 3.6.26." In a Reddit AMA on r/calireggae, conducted while the band was at rehearsals and shooting a video for the track, Iration described the release directly: "Our new single 'Shoyu' just dropped last Friday, off our upcoming album, Where It All Began, landing everywhere on May 1, 2026." The AMA post also offered a window into the band's headspace going into the campaign: "2026 is all about the fans. We've been putting in the work in the studio and rehearsals for our live show and ready to bring you our best version of us yet."
Frontman Micah Pueschel put the album's concept plainly. "For us, this record is about honoring the music that inspired us to start the band in the first place," he said. "It's a nod to the records we grew up listening to, the islands that shaped us, and the feeling that made us want to make music together." That Hawaiian thread runs deep in Iration's DNA, with several band members bringing island upbringings that have long shaped the group's sound into what is often described as a laid-back blend of reggae grooves, melodic hooks, and island-influenced rock.
The summer tour runs through June 28, wrapping in Avila Beach, California. Tribal Seeds will support on most dates, with SOJA, Bumpin Uglies, Artikal Sound System, Tunnel Vision, and Surfer Girl filling select slots throughout the run. The band had been teasing the road campaign since December 2025, when they posted: "2026 is the year we're bringing it back. New music. New set. New experience. On tour with our longtime friends Tribal Seeds. Let's take it back to where it all began."

Venue highlights include The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, Gallagher Square in San Diego, and a two-night stand at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver. The full itinerary covers more than 30 cities across the country.
The announcement lands against a backdrop of sustained output from the band. Over the past year, Iration released a Sublime tribute single called "D.J.'s" in May 2025, a collab with Little Stranger titled "Say Goodnight" in June, a new rendition of "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" in July, and "Roots" alongside Maoli in November. The band has now accumulated over one billion streams and holds multiple Billboard Reggae chart-topping releases, cementing their standing as one of the most successful independent reggae-rock touring acts in the country.
Where It All Began releases May 1, 2026.
