Lost In Time Festival Expands to Two Days, Protoje and Chronixx Headline
Protoje’s Lost In Time Festival expands to a two-day event at Hope Gardens, Kingston, Feb 28–Mar 1, 2026, with Protoje and Chronixx headlining and proceeds aiding Hurricane Melissa relief.

Protoje’s Lost In Time Festival will grow into a two-day immersive event, bringing back heavyweight voices of modern reggae to Hope Gardens in Kingston on February 28 and March 1, 2026. The third edition promises two main stages, sound system culture, curated food from Jamaica’s celebrated chefs, interactive art installations, craft vendors, and punctual, thoughtfully curated programming, an expanded format intended to turn Kingston into a creative mecca.
Protoje headlines Night One, Saturday Feb 28, and Chronixx leads Night Two, Sunday March 1. Night One’s roster includes Lila Iké, Tanya Stephens, Mortimer, Tessanne Chin, Yeza, Iotosh and Joby Jay. Night Two features Jesse Royal, Jah 9, Naomi Cowan, Royal Blu, D'Yani / D’yani and Dahvid Slur. Billboard identified Lila Iké and Mortimer as 2026 Grammy nominees, Jesse Royal as a 2026 Grammy nominee, and Naomi Cowan as a 2026 Juno Awards nominee. Chronixx will deliver his first live performance since the release of Exile, which Billboard named the No. 1 Caribbean Album of 2025.
Lost In Time will also serve as a launch pad for Protoje’s global spring 2026 tour in support of his forthcoming The Art of Acceptance album. Protoje recently released a Damian Marley–assisted single titled “At We Feet.” The festival’s founders are LeAnn Ollivierre and Oje Ollivierre, the latter better known as Protoje, and both are natives of St. Elizabeth. Because St. Elizabeth was heavily impacted by Hurricane Melissa, a portion of LIT 2026’s proceeds will benefit Hurricane Melissa relief through the Lost In Time Foundation in partnership with American Friends of Jamaica, a philanthropic angle organizers describe as deeply personal and community-driven.
Protoje reflected on staging the festival in Kingston: “It feels special to be part of a reggae music festival in the capital of the birthplace of reggae, so honored to continue the tradition this year,” Protoje says.
Launched in 2023, Lost In Time built a reputation for surprise appearances and cross-genre bookings; the 2024 staging featured surprise spots from Yohan Marley and Agent Sasco and appearances by Popcaan, Valiant and Masicka. Organizers are emphasizing punctual programming and multi-stage flow in 2026 to keep sets tight and audiences moving between sound system showcases and main-stage acts.
Tickets are available via the festival’s official website. Fans should monitor daily running orders, stage times and artist spellings for final confirmation as organizers finalize logistics and press materials. For Kingston residents and visiting reggae fans, Lost In Time’s expansion means more stage time for breakthrough acts, bigger culinary and vendor showcases for local businesses, and a higher-profile platform that channels festival revenue back into communities hit by Hurricane Melissa. Expect announcements on set times and further production details as the festival approaches.
