The Mighty Rootsmen kept their debut campaign moving on May 1 with a new video for With A Little Help From My Friends, a song choice that fits the project’s whole pitch: a reggae supergroup built on collective lift. The clip arrived after the project had already started its staggered rollout, with a Record Store Day physical release on April 18 and a wider streaming date set for June 26.

Reggaeville has described the group as a once-in-a-generation collaboration of reggae legends and some of Jamaica’s most respected artists, with Toots Hibbert, Gregory Isaacs, Mykal Rose, Luciano, Sly Dunbar, and Robbie Shakespeare among the names shaping the concept. The project’s stated aim has been to do something new in reggae while making a record that leaves listeners with good feelings, and the new video helps put a face to that promise.
