TelevisaUnivision sets August 7 U.S. premiere for Tierra de Amor y Coraje

ViX set Tierra de Amor y Coraje to reach U.S. viewers on August 7, when the first five episodes will premiere on the platform in the United States. The opening push is built around José Alberto Castro’s new production and the cast headed by Sofía Castro, Brandon Peniche, Emmanuel Palomares and Emilio Osorio.

The teaser published July 31 framed the rollout as a practical watch guide and made the batch release the main selling point. A companion ViX social post called the project TelevisaUnivision’s new telenovela and invited viewers to “meet the full cast,” while the same promotional material also pointed to a September 4 availability date in Mexico.

The story behind the launch is being sold as more than a title reveal. Tierra de Amor y Coraje is a modern adaptation of the 1970s classic Hermanos Coraje, and the promotional copy turns on the Coraje brothers and a character named Clara, who is teased as a prized figure in the Rancho Coraje setting. TelevisaUnivision had already said in April that the melodrama was filming in natural locations in Arizona, using horses, farm animals, expansive landscapes and dirt roads to give the production a cowboy-country look.

Cast appeal is doing as much work here as the premise. Sofía Castro’s role gives the rollout an immediate family-brand draw, especially after José Alberto Castro talked about working with his daughter on the project, while Emmanuel Palomares was singled out in a July 13 production post as the campaign built around him and the rest of the ensemble. With the U.S. premiere now locked and the first five episodes ready to land, Tierra de Amor y Coraje is being positioned as a TelevisaUnivision launch built on familiar faces, romantic tension and a setting that looks tailored for novela fans.
