ViX sets August 7 premiere for Tierra de Amor y Coraje trailer push

ViX will start Tierra de Amor y Coraje with its first five episodes in the United States on August 7, and the trailer is making the pitch the way a good telenovela should: through romance, rivalry, and a long-brewing family fight in the desert of Arizona. The rollout keeps the focus on Clara Barrios, Juan, and the Coraje brothers, while the setup promises the kind of emotional pressure that turns a premiere into appointment viewing for soap fans.

TelevisaUnivision announced the launch on July 30, saying five more episodes will arrive every Friday after the first batch and that the telenovela will also premiere on Univision soon. That weekly cadence gives Tierra de Amor y Coraje a classic serialized shape instead of a full-season drop, keeping the story in front of viewers from one Friday to the next as the conflict deepens.

The company describes the series as a story of love, ambition, and revenge set against the desert landscapes of Arizona. At the center is Clara Barrios, who returns to Arizona to claim the legacy of her father, Rogelio Barrios, and collides with Juan and his brothers Jerónimo and Lalo. The ranches Coraje and Barrios have been neighbors and rivals for years, and the central spark is a dispute over access to the river, a familiar telenovela engine that can turn property, pride, and family history into all-out war.

The production also brings a recognizable team to the screen. TelevisaUnivision identified José Alberto Castro as the producer and named Sofía Castro, Brandon Peniche, Emmanuel Palomares, and Emilio Osorio as the stars. A Televisa Espectáculos Instagram post said the official trailer was produced by Bonsai3 for TelevisaUnivision, while another promotional post said the series was filmed in Arizona, tying the location to both the plot and the visual identity of the show.

For ViX, Tierra de Amor y Coraje looks positioned as more than a new title on the calendar. The trailer, the staggered episode rollout, and the Univision link all frame it as a next-step melodrama built to be followed week by week, with Clara and Juan’s first meeting, the river dispute, and the feud between Coraje and Barrios doing exactly what a trailer for this genre is supposed to do: make the August 7 debut feel inevitable.
