Privé Padel has arrived in Montauk with two Spanish-built padel courts installed at the Montauk Yacht Club Resort, a project that Athleisure Magazine spotlighted on Feb. 13, 2026 as part of the brand’s hospitality-first rollout. Club + Resort Business reported on July 3, 2025 that the launch introduced two state-of-the-art courts and called them the first-ever padel courts in Montauk.

The founders driving the effort are Nicholas Solarewicz, described as a former professional tennis player and Wall Street banker, and Christopher Moore, a Hamptons-based wellness entrepreneur and longtime local. Padelnation.io quoted the company mission directly: “When we launched Privé Padel, our mission was clear: bring the sport of padel to the world’s most sought-after destinations.” Solarewicz told Padelnation.io, “Sticking to our vision of bringing padel to the most beautiful travel destinations, the Hamptons was the ideal setting for our first concept at a luxury resort.”

Sources differ on timing and the nature of the Montauk installation. Padelnation.io says Privé “began in 2024 with a flagship location at the Montauk Yacht Club Resort” and that the first club “opened in the summer of 2024.” Padelbusinessmagazine frames the collaboration as a 2025-season ‘pop-up partnership,’ calling the Montauk project “a benchmark for seasonal high-end integration.” Club + Resort Business’s July 3, 2025 coverage presented the arrival as an official launch, noting the two Spanish-built courts and the Montauk Yacht Club’s waterfront setting.

Membership and product details are already public in Athleisure’s JAN ISSUE #121 listing and Privé’s profile copy. Padelnation.io states Privé currently has 600 members primarily from NYC, the Hamptons, and Miami. Athleisure preserves Privé’s tiered offering: Gold is “perfect for the player who hits the court a few times a week, offering 50% off court bookings and a set of guest passes each month.” Platinum is “designed for the true padel enthusiast. While it comes at a premium, it includes unlimited complimentary play, so if you’re serious about your game, there’s real value there.”

The Montauk effort sits inside a broader industry push to add padel as a luxury travel amenity. Padelbusinessmagazine points to emerging “dedicated padel resorts,” yacht charters, cruise lines, and active travel packages, while Padelnation.io cites a global player base, “nearly 40 million padel players around the world”, as evidence hotels offering padel can capture a passionate, travel-ready demographic. Club Med’s partnership case study in Padelbusinessmagazine notes that as of late 2023 six resorts accounted for 20 courts, with planned expansion.

Athleisure and Haute Living position Privé’s courts as part of a lifestyle play, Athleisure says guests can expect “a stunning backdrop and high-touch experience,” and photography credit lines in the press packets are credited to Privé Padel. The Montauk Yacht Club address listed in Athleisure’s listing is 58 Star Island Rd, Montauk, NY 11954, and Privé’s Instagram handle appears as @privepadel.

Readers who shot action at the Montauk Yacht Club courts or on private Hamptons courts can help document the rollout: tag @privepadel on Instagram with photos from 58 Star Island Rd or other Hamptons locations. Sources vary on whether the Montauk installation began as a summer 2024 flagship, a 2025 pop-up, or transitioned between the two; those timeline and “first” claims remain points for confirmation as Privé expands its resort-first strategy.
