EA Publisher Sale Cuts Most Sims 4 Expansion Packs in Half
Most older Sims 4 expansions dropped to $19.99, but the newest packs stayed pricey, making this a better buy for gap-fillers than day-one shoppers.

If your save file has been waiting on one more world, one more career, or one more occult layer, Electronic Arts just made the older corners of The Sims 4 catalog a lot easier to justify. The Publisher Sale pushed many older Expansion Packs to $19.99, a 50 percent cut, across a storefront that now lists 16 expansion packs in all.
The clearest line in the sand is between the newest releases and everything that came before them. The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is down to $31.99, only 20 percent off its $39.99 price. The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature sits at $25.99, a 35 percent discount. The Sims 4: Royalty and Legacy stays at full price, $39.99, which makes it the one pack in the current headline trio that EA is still treating like fresh premium content rather than sale bait.

That pricing pattern tells you exactly who should move first. Builders and world-hoppers who have been circling older expansions for months will get the most value here, because the deepest cuts are landing on the packs most players already know they want. Dynasty players and long-running legacy saves, especially the kind that need more systems to keep a household interesting past generation four or five, can get the most mileage from filling in those older gaps at half price instead of paying launch rates later. Players chasing newer features have a harder call: Adventure Awaits and Enchanted by Nature are discounted, but not enough to make them impulse buys for anyone who is still testing whether they belong in a main save.
The smaller add-ons are part of the same pattern. EA’s store shows several Game Packs at $13.99, a 30 percent discount, and several Stuff Packs at $6.99, also 30 percent off. That makes this a useful sale for budget buyers who want one tightly focused mechanic or a build catalog refresh without committing to another full Expansion Pack. It is also the moment to check whether your missing piece is a Game Pack-sized mechanic, not a bigger sandbox add-on.

The sale reaches beyond The Sims 4, too. The Sims 3, The Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Collection, and MySims Cozy Bundle are also in the mix, which matters for players tempted to split time between current saves and older nostalgia runs. EA relaunched The Sims Legacy Collection and The Sims 2 Legacy Collection for Windows 10 and 11 in 2025, and MySims Cozy Bundle bundles MySims and MySims Kingdom for modern platforms. For anyone trying to spend carefully during yet another familiar Sims sale, the message is simple: buy the old gaps now, think twice about the newest headline packs, and let the full-price launches sit unless they already match the way you actually play.
