Sacrificial Mods Confirmed Compatible With March 18, 2026 Sims Patch
Sacrificial confirmed all mods compatible with the March 18 hotfix, build 1.122.212.1030, with no updates required — a clean bill of health after a chaotic patch week.

After a turbulent week in the modding community, Sacrificial confirmed that the full SacrificialMods catalog survived the March 18, 2026 Sims 4 hotfix without a scratch. "My Mods Are Compatible With Today's Patch," Sacrificial posted on the SacrificialMods site, noting build 1.122.212.1030 on PC and 1.122.212.1230 on Mac, with no updates required for players already on the latest versions.
The all-clear carries extra weight given the turbulence that preceded it. Just one day earlier, a March 17 update had introduced new systems that unintentionally affected how the game handled external files, breaking many CC and mods that shouldn't have been touched by the patch. The March 18 hotfix resolved the situation by restoring proper file handling and compatibility with the Mods folder.
For Sacrificial's players, that combination of a clean March 18 hotfix and an already up-to-date mod library means nothing needs to be pulled from the Mods folder. The range of mods that cleared the patch is substantial: Life Tragedies, Life Manager, Extreme Violence, the Pie Menu Mod, the Social Consultant Mod, and the Goth Family Nostalgic Refresh are all part of the catalog, which has become a go-to suite for players who want gameplay that cuts deeper than the vanilla experience.
The March 18 compatibility post closes a busy stretch of maintenance for the collection. The February 12 mini patch, build 1.121.361.1020 on PC and 1.121.361.1220 on Mac, had also passed without requiring updates, but the February 3 patch had been less forgiving. That earlier update broke the "Family Tree Generation" and "Modify Family Relationships" features in Life Manager, prompting a prompt fix and a download request to affected players. A follow-up on February 7 pushed Life Manager to v2.2.5, addressing a separate bug where generated parents and ancestors sometimes remained alive when the option was set for them to be generated as dead.

The March 16 update to Life Tragedies added another fix to the log just before the patch week hit. Sacrificial updated Life Tragedies to v1.3.9.3, correcting an issue where kidnapped Sims remained as ghosts when travelling to the cave to rescue them. Sacrificial credited a community member in the mod's Discord server for reporting the bug.
The March 17 update and its March 18 and March 23 hotfixes collectively make up the game's 1.122 patch cycle, which turned into one of the more disruptive update sequences in recent memory. For SacrificialMods players, the March 18 confirmation means the library enters that follow-up period intact.
