Officers were called to the scene at about 4:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire. A preliminary investigation found that a male suspect exited a residence and fired multiple shots before fleeing on foot. No one was struck by gunfire, and no injuries were reported.
During the early-morning probe, officers detained about a dozen people at the scene and placed them in handcuffs while securing the area and conducting interviews. Some of those detained were later released, and one person was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
