Nintendo's 15-minute Indie World Showcase on March 3 delivered more than two dozen indie announcements for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, highlighted by three titles that landed on the Nintendo eShop the same day the presentation aired.

Blue Prince, a rhythm roguelike action game featuring over 100 unique characters with local and online multiplayer for up to four players, dropped immediately on Switch 2 alongside Rotwood, a co-op action brawler built around battling corrupted beasts, and Minishoot' Adventures, a hand-drawn twin-stick shoot-'em-up. Of the three same-day releases, Minishoot' Adventures was the only one also available on the original Switch.

The showcase's most anticipated announcement for Switch 2 came from Drinkbox Studios, the team behind Guacamelee! and Nobody Saves the World. Their new game Blighted is an exploration-driven action RPG set in a psychedelic Western nightmare where players fight as the lone survivor of a village destroyed by a villain called the Sorcisto. Drinkbox describes it as a solo or local and online multiplayer experience, with a Fall 2026 window reported for Switch 2.

Prophecy Games' Deadzone: Rogue, a fast-paced roguelike shooter set aboard a forsaken space station, is coming to Switch 2 on March 17. Pre-orders opened the day of the showcase. The game's procedurally generated corridors and biomechanical enemies are joined by a notable hardware feature: Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for what the developer calls "smooth loot and shoot action." Woodo, a cozy puzzle game from Tiny Monks Tales and Daedalic Entertainment, also supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in its Switch 2 version. That game, described as a 3D coloring book where players assemble wooden diorama scenes piece by piece, is headed to both Switch and Switch 2 in Summer 2026.

Grave Seasons, coming to the original Switch in Summer 2026, blends a farming sim setup with a darker hook: the idyllic town players settle into harbors a supernatural serial killer. Unrailed 2: Back on Track hits both Switch and Switch 2 in May 2026, while Mixtape arrives on Switch 2 on May 7. The Midnight Walk is dated for March 26 on Switch 2, and inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories. comes to both platforms on April 30. Outbound follows on April 23 across Switch and Switch 2.

Later in 2026, Switch 2 players can look forward to Denshattack! on June 17, Ratatan on July 16, and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault at some point in the year. Heave Ho 2 and Toem 2 are both slated for Summer 2026, with Heave Ho 2 spanning both Switch and Switch 2 and Toem 2 landing on the original Switch. My Little Puppy arrives on Switch on May 29.

The showcase also included a separate Japanese Indie World bonus announcement block, surfacing titles including Schrodinger's Call for Switch on May 28, Magical Girl Witch Trials on July 9, Whisper of the House in May, and two same-day releases: Öoo and Japanese Rural Life Adventure, both on the original Switch.

Nintendo noted the presentation was intended for North American audiences and flagged that some titles may not be available in Southeast Asia, with a separate rundown of regional releases provided for that market.
