Xbox Game Pass is set to lose 11 games on July 15, and the biggest names on the chopping block include EA Sports FC 24, Stellaris, PowerWash Simulator, Golf With Your Friends and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The list turns what can feel like routine churn into a real deadline: if one of those games is on your backlog, the clock is already running on finishing it, installing it, or deciding whether to buy it before it leaves the library.

Pure Xbox’s full list of departures also includes My Friendly Neighborhood, Super Fantasy Kingdom, Whiskerwood, Techtonica, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Back to the Dawn. That spread tells the story of modern Game Pass in a single slate, with sports, strategy, co-op, indie survival and single-player adventure all rotating out together. It also makes the month’s first removal wave feel bigger than a typical cleanup, especially with recognizable names like Stellaris and EA Sports FC 24 going out on the same date.

There is still a short buy window attached to the departures. Microsoft’s standard Game Pass notice says members can save up to 20% on games before they leave, and the July removals are carrying that discount until July 15. Some players are also seeing a 12th item in the Xbox app because Splitgate: Arena Reloaded’s Game Pass goodie packs were listed as leaving too, which suggests the app can surface both full games and in-game perk bundles in the same notice stream. For anyone tracking a favorite series, PowerWash Simulator 2 staying on the service softens that hit a bit, but it does not change the fact that the original game is still due out.

This also fits the way Game Pass usually moves through a month. Microsoft’s official leaving-soon page has become the place to watch for removals, and the service has repeatedly used a two-wave pattern, with mid-month departures followed by another batch near the end of the month. July 2025 followed that script exactly, with six titles leaving on July 15 and three more on July 31. Golf With Your Friends has had an especially long run, with Pure Xbox describing it as an “impressive six-year shift” on Game Pass, and that kind of tenure makes July 15 feel less like a routine trim and more like the end of a familiar stretch for subscribers who have kept those games in rotation.
