Leigh Maxwell marks five years at Couture with gold Bauble capsule
Leigh Maxwell’s anniversary capsule pares Couture down to one-of-a-kind rings and earrings, led by rose zircons, diamond pavé and satin-finished 18K yellow gold.

Leigh Maxwell chose restraint for its five-year turn at Couture, narrowing the brand’s anniversary statement to a compact Bauble capsule of one-of-a-kind rings and earrings rather than a sprawling assortment. That edit feels deliberate at a show built on impact. With Couture set for May 27-31, 2026 at Wynn Las Vegas, the collection is designed to read quickly on the floor and to reward a closer look, the way the best high-jewelry pieces do.
The strongest pieces lean into size and contrast. The headline earrings center on 7.72 carats of rose zircons, framed by 1.21 carats of diamond pavé and set in 18-karat yellow gold with a satin finish. The ring follows the same language, pairing rose zircons with diamond pavé in the same softly brushed gold. The result is not delicate gold jewelry dressed up for evening, but statement gold that uses gem volume, texture and brightness to create its own architecture. In a market crowded with polished sameness, that kind of specificity matters.

Jennifer Maxwell said she created the capsule as a nod to where the brand began and how it has evolved, calling it a celebration of growth, discovery and having fun with color in a refined, wearable way. Pavé has been part of Leigh Maxwell from the start, she said, but over time she has gravitated toward less common gemstones and wanted to spotlight personal favorites that feel a little less expected. That choice gives Bauble a collector’s logic: the pieces are playful in spirit, but disciplined in execution. The brand’s own description of its aesthetic, “luxuriously casual,” fits the balance.

Leigh Maxwell, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, launched in 2017 and says its jewelry is hand-crafted in limited production with natural gemstones and solid 18K yellow gold. The pricing of the Bauble capsule, from $21,000 to $35,000, sits comfortably inside a broader luxury range that already includes an 18-inch gold chain listed at $35,300 and a Gemmy Rivière Necklace at $80,400. This is not an entry-level experiment in precious metal, but a continuation of a high-jewelry positioning that Couture has already rewarded: Leigh Maxwell was a finalist in the 2024 COUTURE Design Awards and took third place in Best in Pearls for a one-of-a-kind necklace with 11 conch pearls totaling more than 79 carats, 18K yellow gold and 1.61 carats of diamonds. The Bauble capsule suggests where statement gold is headed now, toward fewer pieces, larger stones and styling with enough force to feel collectible.
