Zendaya Sparks Marriage Rumors With Gold Ring at Paris Fashion Week

Zendaya arrived at the Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2026-2027 women's ready-to-wear show on March 10 dressed in what could only be described as an accidentally bridal custom look: a white shirt dress with a dramatic pointed collar extending to her chest, a high-low bubble hem skirt cinched with a wide black leather belt, and pointed-toe black pumps. Her sleek chocolate-brown bob, worn with a side part and a single stroke of red lip, completed a silhouette that read French-girl chic by way of wedding morning. The jewelry, however, was the story.

On her left ring finger, Zendaya wore a plain gold band in place of her engagement ring. According to Page Six, she had left her Jessica McCormack engagement ring at home and replaced it with a Clash de Cartier ring in white gold, priced at $4,200. She layered a smaller diamond-covered version of the same Cartier design, at $7,150, on her pointer finger, and wore matching Clash de Cartier hoop earrings at $5,550. Her right hand carried a chunkier variation of the same ring at $5,150, a Clash de Cartier bracelet at $11,200, and a Love Unlimited bracelet at $9,400. Cosmopolitan noted that the rest of her jewelry was diamond and platinum, which made the gold band read as a deliberate contrast rather than an afterthought.

Photographers captured something else worth noting: Zendaya kept her left hand tucked inside her pocket when she first arrived at the event. Once inside and positioned for the photocall, the gold band was plainly visible.

The ring landed in a context already thick with speculation. At the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet, Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach told Access Hollywood that "the wedding has already happened," then added, "You missed it." When pressed, Roach laughed and said, "It's very true." That comment followed an earlier interview in which Roach told E! that Zendaya would be "a secret bride" when she and Tom Holland married. Neither Zendaya nor Holland has publicly confirmed or denied any of it.

The couple's relationship has been publicly documented since the fall of 2021, when paparazzi photographs of them kissing in a car circulated widely. They were reported to have gotten engaged after the 2025 Golden Globes. Both are 29.

Zendaya's presence at the Louis Vuitton show was not incidental. She has been a brand ambassador for the house since April 2023 and fronted a campaign for the Capucines handbag. "I remember growing up around LV campaigns," she told Vogue at the time of the partnership. "There was this one that I loved from the early 2000s of Naomi Campbell, and she's like sprawled out over a trunk. I can still see it." The white dress she wore on March 10 was a custom Louis Vuitton design, and E! noted it had previously been worn by Whitney Houston and Sarah Jessica Parker.

What the gold band ultimately signifies remains unconfirmed. But in jewelry terms, the choice was precise: a plain gold band, worn on the left ring finger, surrounded by thousands of dollars in white gold and diamonds, left deliberately visible once the cameras were inside.
