Messika Names Julianne Moore Global Ambassador, Formalizing a Six-Year Bond
Messika's appointment of Julianne Moore as global ambassador formalizes a bond that began when Moore wore the brand's Move necklace on screen in 2018.

Messika announced on March 6, 2026, that Julianne Moore would become its global brand ambassador, giving official title to a relationship the Paris-based high-jewelry house described as "a bond long in the making" that stretches back more than six years.
The connection traces to 2018, when Moore wore Messika's Move necklace while playing a free-spirited divorcee in the film Gloria Bell. That piece of jewelry, one of Messika's signature designs, set something in motion. Moore went on to attend the grand opening of Messika's Madison Avenue boutique and the brand's 20th anniversary celebration in October, both culminating with a dinner at the Frick Collection in New York. By the time Valérie Messika, the house's founder and creative director, formalized the appointment, the relationship had already accumulated its own quiet history.
"Julianne is the very epitome of modern allure: powerful, intelligent and deeply luminous," Valérie Messika said. "From the moment we first met, the connection was immediate. Julianne speaks in emotion and light. As do our diamonds."
As global ambassador, Moore will appear in upcoming Messika advertising campaigns and represent the brand at what Messika described as "key international moments." The first campaign visuals are expected in April 2026.

The appointment carries particular strategic weight given where Messika's growth is currently concentrated. The American market has expanded to roughly 15 percent of the brand's total business, and Moore, an Academy Award-winning actress with deep cultural visibility in the United States, brings an alignment that goes beyond aesthetics. Messika has built a varied roster of collaborators in recent years, working with Kendall Jenner, Chinese actor Gong Jun, opera singer Nadine Sierra, and models Alton Mason and Pan Haowen, but Moore represents a different register: a career defined by precision and emotional complexity rather than cultural ubiquity alone.
Moore's luxury portfolio has grown considerably. She joined Bottega Veneta as an ambassador in 2024 and also represents watchmaker Movado. Within that context, the Messika appointment reads as the most organically evolved of the three; it did not begin with a contract but with a character wearing a necklace in a film eight years ago.
