NeverNoT will bring boombox nostalgia to the 2026 Couture show in Las Vegas, opening Wednesday, May 27, with a collection that turns a portable music icon into high jewelry. The Music line uses the boombox as more than a retro reference: it treats the shape as a vessel for memory, identity and the emotional pull of songs that outlast a generation.

The strongest pieces are built in 14k yellow gold and loaded with color. Music Is My Passion features opal, sapphires, turquoise and diamonds, while Put the Record On adds blue, yellow and pink sapphires, emeralds, purple tourmaline and diamonds. The stone combinations give the collection its visual beat. Opal brings a milky flash, sapphires sharpen the palette, turquoise and emerald push the color louder, and diamonds keep the pieces in fine-jewelry territory rather than novelty.

For cofounder and designer Nina Dzhokhadze, the boombox carries a specific personal charge. She remembers her parents buying the first one she knew, and she links the object to childhood memories of music and cassettes, the first songs she memorized, and the way sound shaped daily life. That memory gives the collection its purpose. The boombox is not just a logo of the 1980s and 1990s; it becomes a symbol of how music moves through family, adolescence and adulthood.

NeverNoT has built its name on that kind of playful seriousness. The London-based fine jewelry brand describes itself as making high-quality, vibrant pieces for everyday life, and its earlier designs leaned on travel motifs such as suitcases and sunglasses. The brand was founded by Georgian-born friends Dzhokhadze and Natia Chkhartishvili, and it emerged to fill a gap in luxury jewelry for pieces that combined large precious stones, neon color and bold enamel without feeling reserved for special occasions alone.

Music extends that idea with sharper emotional focus. It translates pop memory into wearable form, using a familiar object to carry color, craftsmanship and personal history at once. In a market crowded with nostalgia, NeverNoT makes the boombox feel substantial again, not as a throwback, but as a jewel meant to be lived with.
