Peripherii Launches SS26 Audio Couture Bluetooth Earring Collection in New York

Peripherii's PRIAMBLE Audio Couture earrings embed a patented open-ear Bluetooth system into artisan-made forms so minimal they read as fine jewelry, not tech.

Peripherii Inc. launched its Spring/Summer 2026 PRIAMBLE Audio Couture collection in New York on March 16, staking out an argument that has eluded wearable-tech designers for years: that Bluetooth earrings can be engineered from the aesthetic inward, not the circuit board outward.

The SS26 drop divides into two directions with opposite sensibilities. The Forever Collection is the minimalist case, built around thin chains, miniature earring profiles, and a luxury mixed-metal aesthetic, with jewelry components artisan-made in New York City. It targets what the brand describes as "Boardroom to Ballroom" utility, meaning the geometry is spare enough for a morning meeting and refined enough for an evening event without a swap. The Blossom Collection takes the opposing position: oversized floral silhouettes with a clip-on hold, aligned in scale with the exaggerated botanical forms that appeared on major European runways this season. Both collections share the same core technology and the same stated design goal: a silhouette that never appears plugged-in.

That goal rests on a patented open-ear audio architecture. Rather than sealing against the ear canal as a traditional earbud does, the PRIAMBLE system sits at the outer ear, delivering Bluetooth audio with no direct eardrum pressure. The engineering choice is a functional one: wearers retain ambient hearing, which Peripherii frames as situational awareness. The pieces are described as ultra-lightweight, designed to deliver what the company calls a "secure, gentle hug" fit. In practical terms, that means the audio is present but the ear is not occluded, and the profile, in photographs at least, reads as jewelry rather than consumer electronics.

Priti Moudgill, the engineer, inventor, and CEO of Peripherii Inc., described the intent plainly. "Our mission is to keep technology 'at the ear' so women never miss a time-critical call while remaining fully present in their environment," she said. "We are proud to show that Bluetooth earrings can be as beautiful as they are useful, offering a weightless, secure fit that lasts from the first meeting to the final gala."

Moudgill founded Peripherii with a focus on Bluetooth earrings alongside what the company classifies as science-based beauty tools, positioning the whole line under what she calls tech-infused luxury. The PRIAMBLE concept traces back to a 2016 founding vision, making the SS26 drop the latest iteration of a decade-long effort to retire the "broken cigarette" earbud silhouette in favor of something that could pass a jeweler's eye.

Pricing was not disclosed at launch, and battery life, wireless range, and codec specifications remain absent from available materials. Both are meaningful gaps for a piece at this positioning. The collection is available at Peripherii.com.

The broader wearable-audio market has produced no shortage of fashion collaborations, but most have grafted pattern or color onto the same pod-and-stem hardware. Peripherii's claim is structural: a patented architecture built around not looking like what it is.
