Zadok Jewelers Austin is hosting a month-long Mikimoto Spring Residency at its Domain location through March 31, 2026, bringing an expanded selection of the Japanese maison's pearl collections to Texas for a limited engagement. The residency centers on Mikimoto's Les Pétales family of collections, which threads a single poetic conceit across two cities: rose petals suspended mid-fall over Paris's Place Vendôme, and a single flower petal catching a breeze along Ginza's main avenue in Tokyo.

The focal point of the showcase is Les Pétales Place Vendôme Rosés, a collection in which each piece is set with signature petals pavéd in brilliant-cut diamonds, the white fire of the stones playing directly against the organic luster of the pearls beneath. The inspiration is architectural as much as it is botanical: Place Vendôme, the Parisian square around which the world's most significant luxury houses have long clustered, lends the collection its sense of formal elegance and precise proportion.

Les Pétales de Ginza approaches the same petal motif from a different sensibility. Where the Place Vendôme pieces carry the structured refinement of a Parisian octagon, Les Pétales de Ginza attempts to capture movement itself, the slight irregularity of a petal caught in wind rather than descending in still air. The craftsmanship required to render that quality of lightness in metal and stone is a recurring signature of Mikimoto's high jewelry work.
