Pearl Paradise announced on February 13, 2026 that it will mount a sourcing trip and trade-show presence in Hong Kong from March 2–6, offering visits to pearl traders and access to loose-pearl assortments including Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater. The trip is timed to coincide with the HKTDC Twin Jewellery Shows, a concentrated sourcing window for raw materials and finished jewellery.

The Twin Jewellery Shows return in early March under a “two shows, two venues” format, with the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show scheduled at AsiaWorld-Expo from 2 to 6 March and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai from 4 to 8 March. Ildeltagroup’s listings note the two shows across both venues, while HKTDC and Thecultureofpearls specify the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show at AsiaWorld-Expo and the Jewellery Show at HKCEC.

Thecultureofpearls frames the events as a focused sourcing platform: “The shows provide an efficient and convenient sourcing platform for buyers searching for loose gems, pre-finished jewellery materials as well as finished jewellery.” The same outlet records scale from earlier this year: almost 1,700 exhibitors from over 33 countries and regions and almost 32,000 buyers from over 125 countries and regions, underscoring why Pearl Paradise schedules its March 2–6 trip to overlap with the raw-material-heavy segment of the calendar.

Buyer testimony from recent HKTDC success stories highlights the on-site budgets that shape buying rooms and private viewings. David Levy, President Owner of David Levy Diamond Inc., said, “This fair allows me to connect with manufacturers and supply chains. This fair provides everything I need, from sourcing to manufacturing and all related services. I expect to spend US$200,000 at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show and at least US$250,000 at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.” Kengo Kajita, President of Kajita Co Ltd, said, “We have been participating in this show for more than 10 years. Compared to other international shows, this one serves as a gateway to the Chinese Mainland market. We are trying to achieve sales of around US$200,000 at each show. On the first day, we’ve made around 10 deals.” Dee Bolton, coloured stone and pearl buyer at Bolton gems PTY LTD, recounted, “We successfully matched with four businesses this time through HKTDC, from which we purchased colored stones from one of them. They are from the US, Madagascar, Hong Kong, and India. We spent US$$ 20,000 on one of the suppliers. I am sure we will collaborate with him in the long term.”

Practical planning tools listed on HKTDC’s fair pages include visitor pre-registration, the HKTDC Marketplace App and e-Badge, exhibitor and product lists, participation fee and format information, and travel support such as Visa/Permit guidance and hotel and airfare offerings. HKTDC Fair News entries relevant to the season include listings dated 202610/02, 202602/01, 202512/12, 202505/03 and 202503/03, which frame program highlights and registration reminders in the run-up to the March events.

Ildeltagroup’s March–April calendar places the jewellery shows amid a busy trade calendar - Fashion Access runs 12 to 14 March at HKCEC and several Global Sources and electronics fairs follow in April at AsiaWorld-Expo and HKCEC - a factor for buyers coordinating travel and private meetings. Pearl Paradise’s March 2–6 sourcing trip therefore positions collectors and retailers to inspect Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater loose pearls in the same marketplace where buyers routinely commit six-figure budgets, making it a concentrated opportunity for direct procurement during the HKTDC Twin Jewellery Shows.
