Retail Jeweller Festival 2026 Draws 700 Professionals to London Pearl Showcase
Raw Pearls exhibited at London's sixth Retail Jeweller Festival, where 700+ trade professionals gathered on March 16–17, making it the UK industry's defining sourcing event.

More than 700 jewellery professionals converged on central London for the sixth Retail Jeweller Festival, held March 16–17, 2026, making it the most significant annual gathering for the UK's jewellery and watch trade. Buyers and suppliers representing department stores, high-street multiples, and independent retailers filled the venue across two days, with names including Fenwick among the confirmed attendees.
Pearl sourcing had a visible presence on the show floor, with Raw Pearls among the confirmed exhibitors, placing natural and cultured pearl suppliers directly in conversation with retail buyers at a critical ordering period. The broader exhibitor lineup spanned the full supply chain: Andea, Ania Haie, Bespoke Quarter, The Betts Group, CR Gems, Curteis, Freeform Fabrication, Goodman Bros, Hans D Krieger, Henry and Powell, Herbert Marx, Hockley Mint, Hot Diamonds, Noble Packaging, and Weston Beamor all held stands, representing everything from gemstone supply to packaging and fabrication services.
Houlden Group used the festival to consolidate its independent retail network, bringing together its member retailers and suppliers under one roof, a function the group has developed into a key reason independents attend alongside the major multiples.
Ruth Faulkner, managing editor of Retail Jeweller, had framed the event's ambitions clearly when the festival launched in October 2025: "March 2026 will see the ever-popular Retail Jeweller Festival return for its sixth edition." The turnout confirmed that appetite. The festival's positioning as the dedicated trade and networking event for the UK jewellery and watch industry has solidified over six years, drawing a professional mix that few other domestic shows replicate.

Beyond the trading floor, the programme addressed the industry's longer-term talent pipeline. The Bright New Gems initiative, which the festival has hosted across multiple editions, again celebrated emerging professionals. The UK Jewellery Awards Shortlist Party gave suppliers and retailers a shared moment outside business hours, while Retail Jeweller's Rising Stars 30 Under 30 Breakfast brought the next generation of industry leaders into direct contact with established buyers and brand representatives.
For pearl suppliers specifically, the festival's format, two concentrated days with a pre-qualified professional audience, offers a different proposition from consumer-facing trade shows. Raw Pearls' inclusion in the exhibitor lineup signals that pearl sourcing remains a live conversation in UK retail buying, particularly as independent jewellers look for differentiated product to compete with the major chains on quality and provenance rather than price.
