Alamance County Libraries Offer Week of Programs for All Ages
Alamance County's five library branches ran drop-in and registered programs for children, teens, and adults during the week of March 23-31, including a mid-century mirror-making event at Graham.

Alamance County Public Libraries rolled out a week of programming across its five-branch system starting March 23, offering drop-in and registered events for children, teens, and adults through March 31.
The system spans May Memorial Library in Burlington, Mebane Public Library, Graham Public Library, North Park Library on Sharpe Road in Burlington, and South Annex Library in Graham. The week's slate spread programming across those locations, giving residents in communities from Mebane to Graham access to events without making the trip to the system's flagship on South Spring Street.
Among the week's offerings, Graham Public Library hosted a mid-century modern mirror-making workshop on Wednesday, March 25 at 2 p.m., part of a broader celebration of the library system's centennial. The craft event was one of several hands-on sessions scheduled during the week alongside children's programs and adult workshops.
The Alamance County Public Libraries offer programming to suit a variety of interests, and the March week reflected that breadth. Programs and activities in the system range from early literacy programs and storywalks to GED classes.
May Memorial, Graham, and Mebane libraries are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. North Park Library, inside the Mayco-Bigelow Community Center at 849 Sharpe Road in Burlington, is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Friends of the Library provides funding for Alamance County Public Libraries programs. The full calendar of upcoming events is available at the library's website, and questions about specific programs can be directed to the system at 336-229-3588.
