Montgomery Man Arrested After Alleged Spit on Officer; Taser Deployed in Millbrook
Dalvin D. White, 30, of Montgomery was tased and arrested after allegedly spitting on a Millbrook police officer during a Feb. 12 municipal court outburst.

Dalvin D. White, 30, a Montgomery resident, was tased and taken into custody after allegedly spitting on a Millbrook police officer during a disruption at Millbrook Municipal Court on Feb. 12, 2026. Millbrook officers removed White from the courtroom after a physical confrontation, officials said.
White had been in municipal court on an alleged traffic violation when he became irate and caused a disruption, Elmore-Autauga News and WSFA reported. Per Millbrook Municipal Judge Bradley Ekdahl, White was taken into custody for Contempt of Court during the Feb. 12 session.
Millbrook police officers, assigned to the Court Security Detail, responded to remove White after the outburst, the Elmore-Autauga News account says. Authorities reported White physically resisted officers’ efforts to take him into custody and allegedly spat upon one officer; officers deployed a Taser, after which White was removed from the courtroom and arrested.
Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson described the incident and the toll on officers in a department release. “One of our officers sustained a minor injury to his hand, while another was subjected to being spit upon, which is about the most degrading and disrespectful thing that you do to another human being,” Chief Johnson wrote. WSFA also quoted Chief Johnson: “This type of behavior will not be tolerated in our city,” and added, “Most certainly, it will not be tolerated in our municipal court. The only fighting permissible in a court of law is the attorney arguing case law.”

WSFA listed the criminal counts reported against White as “assault with bodily fluids, assault third degree, and resisting arrest.” The arresting officers transported White to the Elmore County Jail following the courtroom arrest, the Millbrook Police Department release confirms. WSFA additionally reported that White “was also charged with Court and sentenced to five days in the Elmore County Jail,” language that appears alongside Elmore-Autauga News’ explicit statement that Judge Bradley Ekdahl ordered custody for Contempt of Court.
Chief Johnson said he spoke with White before transport to the Elmore County Jail and commended officers for their handling of the incident. “I had an opportunity to speak with this young man, prior to him being transported to the Elmore County Jail following his arrest on Thursday afternoon,” the chief wrote, and added, “I want to commend our officers for their restraint and professionalism during their response to this incident.”
Court and arrest paperwork, including formal case numbers, bond information, and booking details from Elmore County Jail, were not released in the Millbrook Police Department materials or the news accounts reviewed. No individual officer names or statements from White or defense counsel were provided in the department release, WSFA coverage, or the Elmore-Autauga News report.
