Prattville CityFest Returns for 38th Year With Two-Day Celebration in May

Prattville CityFest is returning to Historic Downtown Prattville for its 38th year, with the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce staging the two-day event on May 1 and 2 along the banks of the Autauga Creek.

This year's format splits the festival across two distinct venues. Friday, May 1 runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Spillway Park, while Saturday, May 2 shifts to 124 West Main St. for a 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. session. The chamber notes that Friday and Saturday are separate this year, meaning vendors and participants can sign up for one day or both.

The weekend will include live, continuous stage entertainment, a designated children's area with ongoing games and activities, arts and crafts, exhibits, and food. The chamber has hosted the event every year since 1986.

Vendor applications are currently open for arts and crafts, food, and sponsorships. Prospective vendors can download applications at prattvillecityfest.com. Completed applications, along with a check, should be mailed to the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, CityFest Committee, 131 North Court Street, Prattville, AL 36067.

Food vendor slots are limited. The festival's selection committee chooses food vendors and reserves the right to approve or deny specific menu items. Each food vendor application must include photographs of the product and a sample menu. A Prattville city ordinance prohibits alcoholic beverages at the event.
