Cheap Trick to Rock Walla Walla Fair's 160th Anniversary in September
Cheap Trick will headline the Walla Walla Fair's 160th anniversary on Sept. 2; tickets ranging $45–$100 go on sale March 27 at 10 a.m.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick will open the 160th Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days with a grandstand performance on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, giving the region's longest-running agricultural fair a marquee act for its milestone anniversary.
The Illinois-born band, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and logged more than 6,000 live performances over five decades. Hits including "I Want You to Want Me," "Dream Police," "The Flame," and "Surrender" built the catalog that made them one of rock's most durable live draws.
Tickets priced from $45 to $100 go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. through the Walla Walla Fair website at wallawallafairgrounds.com or by phone at 509-527-3247. Organizers are advising fans to purchase early, noting that grandstand events are expected to sell quickly.
The Cheap Trick show opens a fair that runs through Sept. 6. Thursday, Sept. 3 brings the demolition derby to the Walla Walla Fairgrounds, followed by three nights of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association-sanctioned rodeo in the P1FCU grandstands. Fair organizers describe the event as celebrating agriculture, youth, entertainment and community pride, with the 160th edition framed as honoring the fair's legacy while looking toward future generations.
