Baltimore County Restaurant Week launches with deep discounts at 40-plus spots

More than 40 Baltimore County restaurants rolled out summer specials Friday, with some prix-fixe three-course dinners priced at $30.26, $35.26, $40.26 and $42 as the county tries to draw diners during the July 10-19 promotion.

Baltimore County Tourism organized the 10-day Restaurant Week as a way to bring in more business for local restaurants and spotlight the county’s food scene. County Executive Kathy Klausmeier said the event was a chance to showcase some of the county’s best restaurants and urged residents and visitors to take advantage of the “deep discounts” and explore diverse flavors from around the world.

The participating list stretched across nearly 50 restaurants in 25 municipalities across Baltimore County, giving the promotion a wider footprint than a single commercial district. Registration fees were waived for restaurants joining the 2026 event, a change that likely lowered the barrier for operators deciding whether to participate. The county’s Restaurant Week site said menus and special deals would be updated regularly online as restaurants added offerings through the run of the event.

For diners watching summer budgets, the pricing is the main draw. The listed offers include multiple three-course options under $45, with some menus landing at $30.26 and $35.26. That kind of pricing turns Restaurant Week into more than a marketing push for restaurants looking to keep seats filled, especially when higher menu prices can make casual dining harder to justify.

Baltimore County’s promotion also sets up a second round of regional deals in Baltimore City. Baltimore City’s Summer Restaurant Week is scheduled for July 24-Aug. 2, 2026, giving city diners another stretch of prix-fixe menus, cocktails, brunches and dining experiences just as the county event wraps up.
