A Star-K certified kosher concession stand called "Birdland Kosher" is coming to Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the 2026 season, the Baltimore Orioles announced March 9.

The stand will be set up on the main concourse near section 83, between Gates E and F, offering a menu that blends ballpark staples with Jewish deli classics. Fans can order hot dogs ($9), chicken nuggets ($8), jumbo soft pretzels ($7), and chocolate chip cookies ($5), alongside potato knishes ($6) and hot pastrami sandwiches on rye ($18), according to the Oriole Park Food Guide.

The certification comes from Star-K, a Baltimore-based kosher certification organization. That certification shapes not just the menu but the stand's operating calendar. Birdland Kosher will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays, in observance of the Jewish Sabbath, as well as on Yom Kippur, which falls on September 20 and 21 this year. The stand will also sit out the April 1 home game, with Passover beginning at sundown that evening. Otherwise, it will be open for all home game days.

The Orioles framed the new stand as an amenity for all visitors to the park, not exclusively for Jewish fans. "The all-new 'Birdland Kosher' concessions stand provides certified Kosher offerings, including many of the most popular ballpark menu items, for all Oriole Park visitors," the team said in its official food guide.

The addition marks the return of kosher food options to Camden Yards, filling a gap that had been noted by Jewish baseball fans in the Baltimore area. With a sizable Jewish community in neighborhoods like Pikesville and throughout the Baltimore metropolitan region, the demand for certified kosher options at a major public venue like Camden Yards has long been a topic of conversation.

The 2026 Orioles home schedule is already generating significant interest following the team's recent competitive run, and Birdland Kosher gives another segment of the fan base a reason to spend more time at the ballpark on Sundays through Thursdays when the stand will be in full operation.
