Beltrami County booking lists Bemidji man on DWI, drug charges
Keith Cloud’s booking record listed fourth-degree DWI, drug possession, false-identification and license-related charges. The county’s jail and records rules make clear the entry is not a conviction.

Keith Cloud was booked into the Beltrami County jail on May 3, 2026, on charges that included fourth-degree driving while impaired, giving a peace officer a false name, birthdate or ID card, fifth-degree drug possession involving Schedule 1 through 4 substances or paraphernalia residue, and driving without a valid license for the vehicle class or type. The booking record, identified as 2026000627 and last updated May 4, listed Cloud’s height at 6 feet 1 inch, weight at 185 pounds and brown eyes.
The entry matters because it sits inside a county records system built around public disclosure and legal limits. Beltrami County says its inmate locator does not establish guilt or a conviction, and the booking listing itself says arrest information only does not imply guilt. Minnesota law presumes government data are public unless classified otherwise, and the Beltrami County Records Office maintains arrest records for the sheriff’s office, Bemidji Police Department and Blackduck Police Department.

Cloud’s booking also lands in a county that covers a wide stretch of northern Minnesota. Beltrami County says the sheriff’s office patrols more than 3,000 square miles and protects more than 47,000 residents, while the U.S. Census Bureau put the county’s July 1, 2024 population estimate at 46,762. The county has 2,504.6 square miles of land area, making it the fourth-largest county in Minnesota by total area.
The jail that processed the booking is the Beltrami County Adult Corrections Center in Bemidji, a state-licensed facility regulated by the Minnesota Department of Corrections. The county says the jail is inspected annually for staffing, population density, training, classification, fiscal issues, reporting and policy and procedure compliance. In a county where summer population can swell sharply with tourism, that local system is one of the main public windows into arrests, charges and the next steps in the criminal process.
