The Bemidji Aerials Silver team returned from the Minnesota State Silver Gymnastics Championship in Minneapolis with a collection of strong all-around performances that underscored the program's depth. Leading the group was Briar Haman with a 36.025 all-around, followed closely by Harper Conger at 35.900, Emma Mulkey at 35.675, Brooke Winkler at 35.375 and Adalee Colley at 35.125. Those five scores stood out among statewide competition and were complemented by five additional team totals: Violet Furuseth 34.975, Avery Iverson 34.950, Bailey Barkholtz 34.800, Adeley Riedel 34.325 and Kynley Forbes 33.700.
Measured across the ten athletes who scored at the meet, Bemidji’s average all-around was 35.09, with a median of roughly 35.05. Half of the roster posted 35.000 or higher, showing not only top-end performers but also consistent scoring across multiple competitors. That balance matters at state-level meets, where depth can determine team standing and individual advancement.
For Beltrami County, the results are more than scorelines. State-level representation brings visibility to local youth athletics and can strengthen demand for coaching, facilities and youth programming in the region. Parents and younger athletes in Bemidji now have a tangible benchmark for progression within the Aerials program, and the scores provide measurable evidence coaches can use to target offseason development.
Competing in Minneapolis also meant travel and expense for families and the club, a reminder that sustaining competitive programs involves community support. Continued success at state meets typically fuels enrollment interest and may influence funding priorities for recreation and school-affiliated programs as local leaders weigh investments in athletic infrastructure and coaching resources.
Looking ahead, the Aerials’ combination of high individual scores and steady team averages gives the program momentum heading into the coming season. The Dec. 12–14 meet results establish a clear standard for returning athletes and newcomers aiming to push those all-around totals higher, and they keep Bemidji visible on the statewide gymnastics map.
