The Bemidji State women's golf team traveled to Litchfield Park, Arizona, to open its spring schedule at the Southwest Minnesota State Spring Invite on March 9-10, posting a two-day total of 701 and finishing 11th at the Wigwam Golf Complex.
Sophomore Lauren Kammann paced the Beavers with rounds of 85 and 82 for a 167 total, good for a tie for 41st individually. Her sister Haylee Kammann was close behind, carding an 85-84 for a 169 total and a 47th-place finish.
The team showed measurable progress across the two days, trimming seven strokes from its first-round score of 354 to close with a 347 on day two. Sara Sroga shot 178 (91-97) to tie for 57th, while Bailey Tilley finished 66th with rounds of 93 and 94 for a 187. Kaitlyn Reeves rounded out the BSU scorers in 73rd place with a 225, posting 111 on day one and 114 on day two.
