Bemidji Woman Charged After Weekend Brawl Breaks Out at Walmart

A Bemidji woman was charged with assault after a brawl broke out inside the Walmart on Paul Bunyan Drive NW over the weekend, according to Bemidji police.

Officers responded to the store after reports of a physical altercation involving multiple people. The woman was taken into custody at the scene and subsequently charged in connection with the incident.

Bemidji Police have not released additional details about what triggered the fight or whether any other participants face charges. The investigation remains open.

The Bemidji Walmart has been the site of several law enforcement calls in recent months. A separate incident in February resulted in a burglary charge against another Bemidji woman who had previously been issued a trespass notice from the store.
