Pink Out Bingo Feb. 12 to Benefit Edith Sanford Mobile Mammography
Sanford Health Foundation will host Pink Out Bingo Feb. 12 in Bemidji to raise money for the Edith Sanford mobile mammography unit and expand local breast cancer screening access.

Sanford Health Foundation will host Pink Out Bingo on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Bemidji Town and Country Club to raise funds for the Edith Sanford mobile mammography unit. “Proceeds from Pink Out Bingo will support the Edith Sanford mobile mammography unit, which helps bring breast cancer screening services directly to communities across the region,” organizers say.
The event will be held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club, 2425 Birchmont Beach Road NE. “The event begins with a social hour at 5 p.m. followed by bingo at 6 p.m.” Attendees can expect an evening of bingo and community support centered on increasing access to breast cancer screening for residents across Beltrami County and the wider region.
“Tickets are $125 and include a taco bar dinner and 10 bingo games.” A cash bar will also be available. “Registration is required and seating is limited,” so organizers advise securing a spot soon. Tickets can be purchased through the Sanford Health Foundation website.
The night will feature multiple prize opportunities. “Participants will have the chance to win curated baskets valued at more than $150 each.” The program “will wrap up with final coverall bingo, featuring a luxury bag as a grand prize.” Pink attire is encouraged to show support: “Pink attire is highly encouraged, and the event is open to all.”

For Beltrami County residents, the mobile mammography unit funded by events like Pink Out Bingo can change how and when people access preventive care. The unit brings screening directly to communities, reducing travel and scheduling barriers that can delay diagnosis. Local fundraisers both raise dollars and help build awareness about the importance of screening and early detection.
Pink Out Bingo also offers a social night out in Bemidji that combines dinner, games, and prizes with a clear civic purpose. Between the taco bar, ten rounds of bingo, curated prize baskets, and the final coverall, the evening is designed to draw a broad cross-section of the community to support a practical health service.
Registering early is recommended because of limited seating. Attendance will directly support the Edith Sanford mobile mammography unit and contribute to broader efforts to make breast cancer screening more accessible across the region, keeping care closer to home for people in Beltrami County.
