Rock Tribute Act The Rock Gods Coming to Bemidji Sanford Center March 27

The Rock Gods brought their touring classic rock tribute production to the Sanford Center at 1111 Event Center Drive Northeast in Bemidji on Friday, March 27, with the show getting underway at 7:30 p.m.

The group billed itself as a salute to the genre's most legendary acts, working through material and stage presentation from Van Halen, Def Leppard, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Kiss, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Motley Crüe, Poison, and others. The act does not focus on a single band but instead cycles through the era's defining names in one production.

"The Rock Gods are a tribute to rock and roll's most iconic stars," a release from the production said. "Composed of the world's most renowned musicians and impersonators, The Rock Gods experience recreates the nostalgia of the original 'Rock Gods' in prime form. The costumes are identical, the sounds are exact, and the performance will be remembered for a lifetime."

The Sanford Center, which also hosts upcoming events including Northern Minnesota's Women's Expo and an evening with Cary Elwes tied to "The Princess Bride," listed The Rock Gods in its upcoming events calendar with the 7:30 p.m. start time.
