Hawai‘i Island police seek help finding 15-year-old Navia Nash, last seen at about 7 p.m. Feb. 11 on ‘Ua‘u Road in Mountain View; anyone with tips should call 808-935-3311.

Hawai‘i Island police issued a missing/runaway alert for 15-year-old Navia Nash after she was last seen at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 on ‘Ua‘u Road in Mountain View, the department said in a media notice released Feb. 13. The notice asks the public to assist in locating Nash and ensuring her safe return.
Big Island Now reported Nash was wearing a gray hoodie and camouflage sweatpants when last seen and described her as 5-foot-9 and 145 pounds with a fair complexion, long black hair and blue eyes. The Big Island Now article, posted Feb. 13 at 6:39 PM HST under the headline “Police seek 15-year-old runaway girl missing for 2 days,” notes the timeline from Feb. 11 to the Feb. 13 media notice.
Anyone with information about Navia’s whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department non-emergency line at 808-935-3311, the media notice and local coverage say. For life-threatening or in-progress emergencies residents should call 911. The Hawai‘i Police Department’s Hilo office is listed at 349 Kapiʻolani Street, Hilo, HI 96720 on the department’s contact block.
The HPD website also lists a separate runaway case for 15-year-old Sophia Nihipali-Moniz, described there as Hawaiian/Filipino with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 119 pounds with medium length black hair and brown eyes. That entry additionally includes the line “Napoleon was last seen near the intersection of Highway 130 and Highway 132 on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026 at 4:18 pm,” text that appears inconsistent with the Sophia heading in the same post. The page repeats the HPD non-emergency tip line 808-935-3311 for that case as well.
The Hawai‘i Police Department provides additional investigative contacts on its site for unsolved or serious cases, including an Unsolved Homicides Division number at 808-961-2380 and Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300, which are listed alongside the department address and non-emergency line. The department’s Feb. 13 media notice and the Big Island Now report together establish the known facts about Navia Nash’s last confirmed sighting and the ways the public can report tips.
People with tips about Navia Nash’s location should call 808-935-3311; emergencies should be reported to 911. The HPD notice emphasizes the department’s request that the community help locate Navia and ensure her safe return.
