Mountain View man arrested after Puna domestic dispute, police say

A Mountain View man was arrested after a domestic dispute in Puna, with police identifying 30-year-old Keanu Kaikala Krause as the suspect in a case that moved from a residence call to a multi-count arrest.

Hawaii Island police said the dispute happened the morning of Saturday, May 2, 2026, at a Mountain View home. Detectives handled the case, and the department said the arrest and charges were announced in a May 5 media release.
