Police seek missing Ocean View teen Lily Amor, may be headed to Kona
Police are looking for 17-year-old Lily Amor, last seen in Ocean View on April 8 and believed to be in Kona. She is 5-foot-5, 140 pounds, and has a nose piercing and braces.

Hawaii Island police are asking for help finding 17-year-old Lily Amor, who was last seen at 2:30 p.m. on April 8 in the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates subdivision in Ocean View and may be in the Kona area.
Amor is described as having a dark or tanned complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Police said she is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, and has a nose piercing and braces. The runaway case was posted on the Hawaii Police Department’s media releases page on April 20.
The focus on Kona matters because it broadens the search beyond Ocean View and puts the teen on a route that stretches from the southern end of Hawaii Island to the island’s west side communities. Anyone in Kailua-Kona, Waikōloa, Ocean View, or along the main highway corridor who has seen someone matching Amor’s description is being asked to contact police directly.
Hawaii Police have repeatedly turned to the public in recent runaway and missing-person cases across the island. In one recent case, 12-year-old Selah Matthews was located in Hilo in good health on April 7 after being reported as a runaway. Other Ocean View cases in recent months have also ended with safe recoveries, underscoring how often these searches depend on quick tips from people who notice something unusual and report it.

Police are asking anyone with information on Lily Amor’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311. Tips can also be directed to Officer Dane Shibuya Jr. at (808) 929-2520 or by email at dane.shibuya@hawaiipolice.gov.
Residents who may have seen Amor should pass information to police immediately and avoid spreading unverified claims online. A timely call, especially from someone in Ocean View, Kona, or between the two, could be the detail that helps locate her.
