Three concealed firearms and narcotics were found on three passengers during a Friday night traffic stop on Biltmore Avenue, prompting Asheville police to arrest all three occupants, each 18 years old, on March 20.

Around 8:09 p.m., officers spotted a vehicle driving erratically and ignoring stop signs on Oakland Road. During the traffic stop on Biltmore Avenue, three people had a concealed firearm and two were found to have narcotics.

APD arrested and charged Terryon Demon Collins, 18, Taaron Mikeith Andreis Griffin, 18, and Darius Mikael Tolbert, 18. All three were booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a secured bond issued by a magistrate. Collins was held on a $20,000 bond; Griffin and Tolbert each posted $15,000 bonds. All three were released the following day.
