McKinney Luxury Estate Heads to Auction with 4.5 Million Dollar Ask
A 12,000-sq-ft McKinney estate with a 6,200-sq-ft car showroom hits auction April 2 with a $4.495M ask — and nine acres of agricultural tax exemptions.

A Tuscan-inspired estate on Paradise Ranch Trail is heading to auction April 2 with a $4,495,000 asking price, bringing one of McKinney's more unusual luxury properties to the block: a 12,000-square-foot residence where a formal dining room overlooks a climate-controlled showroom built to house up to 20 cars.
Elite Auctions is handling the sale of the property at 2115 Paradise Ranch Trail, which sits on 10 acres inside the gated Paradise Ranch community outside McKinney's city limits. Built in 2008 from limestone quarried on-site, the estate rises 60 feet above its barn and pastures, offering panoramic views across rolling North Texas land.
The car showroom is the property's signature feature: 6,200 square feet of climate-controlled space constructed with century-old barn timbers, reportedly sourced from South Dakota. Inside, a vintage 1950s-style soda fountain bar, a TV lounge and generous storage accompany the vehicle capacity. The adjacent formal dining room includes reinforced flooring engineered to display a prized car indoors as part of the setting.
The main residence offers four ensuite bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, a private media and theater room, a fitness room, wine storage, and an indoor-outdoor lagoon-style pool with retractable glass walls. Retractable glass ceiling panels extend the pool's usability year-round. Covered patios, terraces and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen complete the outdoor living spaces.
Beyond the residence, a four-stall equestrian barn with fenced pastures adds boarding income potential to the property's financial pitch. Elite Auctions describes the estate as a "trifecta property" combining luxury accommodation, personal hobby space and income opportunities. Those opportunities, as listed in the auction materials, include event rental, equestrian boarding, glamping operations, wine-tasting events and wine production. The showroom's adaptability extends to potential conversion as an event venue or additional living quarters.

The property carries a 1.3% property tax rate and an agricultural exemption on nine of its 10 acres.
"We're seeing a fundamental shift in what luxury buyers want," said Tara McLean, co-founder and president of Elite Auctions. "Now buyers are seeking properties that offer attractive living spaces and cater to their interests — like collecting cars, making wine, or enjoying equestrian activities — as well as providing income opportunities."
McKinney's standing as the top-ranked U.S. housing market for 2025 adds context to the timing. The estate sits within 40 miles of downtown Dallas and draws on proximity to employment centers in Frisco and Sherman across the tech and healthcare sectors.
Earlier coverage from late 2025 had placed the auction on November 7 with no reserve. The March 18, 2026 Elite Auctions press release sets the current date as April 2; prospective bidders should confirm current terms and reserve status directly with Elite Auctions before the auction date.
